Dress: LuLu’s

Hat: Nordstorm

Heels: BCBG

Rainbows, sunshine and spring in the air. It is such a beautiful day today in Brooklyn, I am getting ready to go to brunch and then meet my boyfriend! It is actually warm enough in NYC to not have to wear a heavy jacket! YAY! Oh, the little things haha!

I am currently sipping on a latte my roomie made for me, so yummy! I needed it after a girls night last night in the Lower East Side, which was so much fun!

I am sure you will be seeing this dress more because it is so freaking cute and comfy. I love how the background brought out the colors of this printed dress. For me, there is nothing better than just throwing on a lovely dress on the go in the summer.

I’m off to get ready and I will talk to you beauties later! Mwah! ♥

I had the most wonderful weekend. My mum flew in town to visit me, it was really great to spend time with her. We just wandered around the city, went shopping and ate lots of food. I also took her to Agave (one of my favorite brunch spots in the city!) Who can resist lots of food and bottomless drinks.

I also want to send a huge thank you to Fashion Nova for sending me fun tops and dresses! I love pairing this color yellow with my plaid pants to add more of a fall feel but I can’t wait to wear this shirt in the summer too. The back is so cute!

You can use the promo code: XONICOLETTE at checkout on Fashion Nova for a discount on your purchase 🙂

Have a beautiful Tuesday and I can’t wait to show you my other shoot with the clothing from Fashion Nova. Coming soon! ♥

Heels: Forever 21

I wore this look for a date night in the Theater District with my special someone. We went to see Aladdin!
It was a great production.
Since I was young I’ve loved going to the theater. Broadway shows are so magical! I would have to say my favorite is Wicked. I have seen it 3 times, once in London, once St. Louis and once in New York City.

This fluffy top from Misguided has been my obsession from the very moment it arrived at my apartment. I love the contrast of the dark black color to the softness of the feathers. I wish you all could touch it 😉

Have a great Monday!

Here is a super low-key post! These jeans from Misguided are perfect. They were the first pair I ordered from there and I am in love! I was looking for a high-waisted, distressed jeans for quite some time and I am so happy with this purchase. The fit is great for my curvier body. You can find great affordable pieces online that are unique.

You do not have to have a lot of money to have great style! Just make it your own and you will look great! Mwah!

It is starting to get really cold here in New York City. Autumn is here to stay. I am finally starting to pull out all my sweaters that I have not seen in a while. Now I am off to some meetings for work.

Have a beautiful Thursday! ♥

Isn’t this stained glass house beautiful? Many people when they come to visit New York completely forget about Brooklyn but BK can be so amazing. Now I may be bias as I am a brooklynite, but some of the best restaurants and sites are located in the great parts of Brooklyn. Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of my favorites! I love this area as there so much to see and do! If you ever travel over to Brooklyn this is a must see!
Ok, so lets talk fashion! These heels have become my absolute go-to black heels. They are so comfortable and always add a little something to my outfit. We all have that one pair that we grab time after time! I am thinking about buying an exact same pair just to have when these ones have to be retired, but that’s a little crazy right?
While I think about buying yet another pair of heels, I hope your have a wonderful Tuesday! ♥

Here is a short but sweet post 🙂 I am such a softie for a timeless pink dress! This silhouette is perfect, it is so chic and sexy at the same time! Perfect for a dinner date with that special someone. I know I will be wearing this dress for years to come.  This will probably be my last “summer attire” post as it is starting to get cooler here in New York.

I am so glad it is almost Friday but first have a wonderful Thursday! Now I am off to dinner with my someone special! ♥

Dress: Vintage

Hat: Urban Outfitters

Belt: Nasty Gal

Heels: Forever 21

As a lover of all things retro, I’m obsessed with vintage finds. Luckily for me I did not have to go far to find this simple but timeless black dress. In fact, I just wandered to my parents house and stepped into my mother’s closet.

My mother first wore this dress in the early 90’s and it is still as classic as the day she got it! This black dress is so versatile. I am just lucky that my mother let me have it!

Now off to work I go, have a happy Wednesday!
